New Zealand Road Trip Day 2 - Queenstown

I woke up by 8:00 am but the kids and Lakshmi refused to get out of bed until 1:00 pm. I don't enjoy cooking, but during vacations don't mind doing it, once in a while. I decided to make breakfast/ lunch for the kids and Lakshmi. And yes it was as exotic as scrambled eggs and bread toast. #allizzwell

We decided to drive to Glenorchy. The roads were narrow and winding but very beautiful. It reminded us of our times in Norway (2005) and in Leh (2017). The road is right next to the lake and had some breathing views. This is summer in NZ, as all of you know, and this is also the holiday peak season.

Queenstown is one of the most visited place in NZ and yet the roads were empty and Glenorchy only had 2 cafes open!! Busy in different places clearly mean different things. We were in Rajasthan same time last year and maaaan....we know what peak season tourists look like!! #lovelynz

A chilled day comes to an end.....cannot wait for what awaits us tomorrow.
