Astrakhan has nothing much to do. So we started the day quite late and after a late breakfast left the hotel at 1130am.
The next 90mins was spent walking around the white Kremlin of Astrakhan. Beautiful place considering that Astrakhan town had only 500k people. One of the travellers had a friend here and he picked us up and we went to his showroom and then had shashlik for lunch.
Post a short nap we took a boat on Volga and followed it with a lovely local dinner.
Chilled out day. Tomorrow is the last day in Russia as we drive to Makachakla.
