Has it happened to you that as soon as you eat, you know you shouldn't have eaten. I eat biryani at night and man my stomach goes for a toss. Woke up this morning with a fever and headache. Had some toasts and post a dolo slept for some time.
With a slight headache, we left Karnal at 10:45 am. Again Jammu is only 475 kms away. So we could still get there with light available. Too bad with my headache we couldn't stop at any dhabas; not that the kids were complaining about lunch in McDonald's.
I felt much better as we got into J&K. Another day where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in 3 different states. Reached Jammu at 6:20 pm.
Tomorrow we need to leave at 4:30 am if we are to avoid the Amarnath yatra crowds.
