Today was a day to get the car cleaned and get acclimatized to the higher altitudes.
After some lovely paranthas and toasts that our hosts made for breakfast, we headed out to the Mahindra Service center. Car was in good shape.
Only issue is that we had to go elsewhere to get the car washed and tyres checked!! That was the next stop - Nepali guys cleaned our car and a sardar checked our tyres.
Had lunch at a place filled with Israelis and then we headed back to the home. Kids watched dvds as there is no tv in our room while lakshmi and I just chilled, planning our next few days.
Tomorrow we head to Nubra valley attempting to climb the highest motorable pass - Khardung La!!
